The Gods Never Thought
The humans have failed. Their technology has inevitably destroyed them. Their lack of faith has inevitably crushed them. But the gods are still here. They watched as the humans stopped their worship, as they began to worship the machine, and as the machine took them out. And the gods went on with their immortal lives of luxury. They could see the signs of earthly destruction. But as long as their cultures still stood, as long as people still knew their stories, the gods were content.
They Would Need to Depend on Humans
But then, in the Gregorian calendar of 2327 the bombs finally went off. The humans finally destroyed themselves. And now only a few survive--confused, lost, and alone. Between them all, they do not know enough of the gods' stories. They do not know the cultures. The gods only exist so long as people know of them.
To Survive
Olympus is falling. Asgard is falling, Ama is falling, the lands of the gods are falling--disintegrating, right before their very eyes. The underworlds are collapsing. If something is not done soon, the gods' immortal lives may well soon be over. If the gods want to survive, they will have to work together. The gods will have to come to Earth and save the humans that they never much cared for, for the humans are their only hope.
